Weekend with the Rameys in El Paso!

This past weekend we flew to El Paso to visit our friends, Matt and Katie and their sons Pierce and Luke. Luke is almost 6 weeks old so it was our first time to meet him. So cute! Caroline talks about Pierce a lot so she enjoyed seeing him. We had a blast hanging out with them - Katie and I got pedicures and the guys went out. They took us to Las Cruses, NM for breakfast which was really fun.

Here is Pierce saying his favorite word. "ball".

We brought the whoopie cushion to El Paso (that's mature, right?) and Caroline loved sneaking it under the couch cushions and telling people to sit down.

Caroline loved to push Luke in his swing...really high. We're working on it.

Sweet Luke!

On the way to the park on Sunday morning.

The kids (including Kevin) swinging. :)

Sweet kids at the bottom of the slide.

Caroline is posing and Pierce is ready for a nap.

Caroline loved holding Luke...

...but clearly we have work to do on how to hold a baby. (Thanks to Katie and Matt for letting Caroline practice being a big sister on their newborn!)

Weekend with the Cocke Family in Houston!

Last weekend, Caroline and I went to visit my friend Sheila in Houston while Kevin was on a boy's ski trip. I haven't seen Sheila in a long time which is awful because she is one of my very favorite people. Caroline spent some time with her son, Beckett, who is two years younger than Caroline. Sheila is also pregnant and is 10 weeks behind me. I had a great time visiting with Sheila and Sam and enjoyed watching sweet Beckett - he is one handsome little boy with his dark hair and dark eyes!

At Lupe Tortilla for dinner on Friday night

Silly faces...

Watching Sesame Street together on Saturday morning

Caroline, Sam, and Beckett at the dog park. Caroline loves their dog, George.

Holding hands in the car...so sweet!

Beckett was so cute blowing bubbles in the backyard

The kids loved watching as their pizza was made on Saturday night.

And then we went to Marble Slab - yum!

At the grocery store fighting over the steering wheel :)
