A much needed Sonic happy hour

Yesterday was insane! I was already overwhelmed with everything we had going on in one day-I had work, William had a new preschool and Caroline was coming to work with me for part of the day and then going to a camp downtown for the other part. Oh and then William had swimming and Caroline had tumble. And Kevin was out of town.

So I had packed everyone's lunch and we were in the car for our marathon day. And the car battery was dead. Did I mention Kevin was out of town?

Once that was fixed, we took William to his new preschool where Caroline realized she only had one shoe on. Apparently the other one fell out of the car at home. Since she was going to theater camp, we had to go to Target and buy her some new shoes since we were far from home. We were all in the car ready to go at 8:30 and by the time I arrived at work it was 10. Yep, an hour and a half of craziness.

The day pretty much continued like this and at 3:30, as we were on our way home from Caroline's camp downtown, I decided we all needed a little treat from Sonic happy hour.

The kids ordered the new slushes with Nerds candy in it - what kid wouldn't want that?! It was great until William choked on a Nerd and threw up his cherry slush in the backseat. He is ok - just seemed fitting for the day.
