William at 14 months

Things we want to remember about William at this age:

• His words: ball, book, "mo" (more), mama, dada, nana, "nigh nigh" (night night)
• He still loves playing ball and is constantly trying to get someone to roll the ball to him.
• Every night I rock him and tell him "Good Night Moon". We don't even look at the book anymore. He just lays his head on my chest, sucks his thumb, and I rock him while I recite the book. Its the most magical 2 minutes of the entire day.
• He loves Elmo and Curious George.
• He seems to dislike meat now and only wants fruit. Today in SuperTarget, he had a screaming meltdown in the cart as we went through the produce section as he pointed to everything and yelled "MO!"  Same thing happened when we walked by the yogurt section.
• He started walking yesterday (August 28, 2012) but still prefers to crawl.
• He still prefers to be held at all times. Its exhausting but he does like to snuggle which makes everything ok.
• At a recent doctor's visit, he weighed 24 pounds.
• He is still the happiest little guy and seems to look for any opportunity to smile or laugh.
