William at 19 months

Where do I start with William right now? Let me start by saying that, at 19 months old, William has his first helmet. Why does he have a helmet? Oh because he rides his "car" (ride-on toy) around the neighborhood like a crazy man. Our neighbor's son, who is just a couple months younger than William, calmly sits in a wagon while his parent's pull him leisurely around the neighborhood. Meanwhile, William cruises down the big hills in our neighborhood at high speeds and slows himself down and steers with his feet.
Besides William riding his car around the neighborhood, he still loves playing ball, building with MegaBloks, playing trains, and playing with Caroline. He is putting together a few two word sentences. Usually its commands like "Momma cook" or "Momma eat." In fact, when he wakes up in the morning or from naps he lays in his crib and I hear him say "momma cook!" over the monitor.  Kevin promises to teach him to respect women more as he grows up. :)
William is becoming pickier with what he eats and very opinionated about what he does. He stands at the front door and says "car. walk." over and over again until we take his ride-on car outside and take him for a walk. Lately when we go on walks he rides his car down the hill in our neighborhood full speed, throws a tantrum and himself on the ground at the bottom of the hill, and then Kevin or I carry William and his car back up the hill and go home because he is screaming. Same thing every time. It's like Groundhog Day.
