Friday was my Mom's birthday and we celebrated at Gloria's on Greenville and then came home to open presents.
Three generations of fun women!

Caroline saw Nana and Papa hugging and just had to be a part of it...
Nana opening her birthday card from Caroline. Caroline was excited to show Nana the drawings in her card.
Caroline played doctor to Papa and pretended to put ear drops in his ears.
Caroline "shaved" with Papa one morning. She's very into noticing when someone has a beard and reminds us often that "boys have beards and girls don't have beards."

On Saturday evening we went to see Dora Live at Nokia Theater. (We have been calling it "Dora Unplugged".) Caroline is a huge Dora fan and we thought she would love every minute of the show. She spent the first hour and a half scared of the characters in costume. She sat in Papa's lap and literally did not move the whole time and just starred at the people on stage. But the last few minutes they did a dance number and Caroline was really excited! And she hasn't stopped talking about the show since. Uncle Mike didn't have a ticket to the show so Caroline was sure to inform him of everything he missed. (We told him the next time Dora comes to town, he gets to take her. :) )
I had to take these pictures because it was such a "grandparent" moment. Nana and Papa stood in line with the rest of the crazy Dora fans to get a Dora doll. Sheer madness.
Caroline giving them a hug after she received her new Dora doll!
(Please check out the kid on the leash in the back left of this picture - hilarious.)

After Dora, we went where any family would go - Chuys. Here they are at the bar while we wait for our table. (The new Dora doll is one barstool down with Kevin and Uncle Mike....I'm not kidding.)

We introduced Caroline to "The King" at Chuys. Admit it - its an important milestone in any child's life.

This picture was taken with Mike's blackberry but I love Caroline's face in the picture!

Caroline has received some great "get well" presents lately and her Grandma (Kevin's Mom) sent matching princess for Caroline and her friend, Farrah. I think these pictures are priceless.

I know this picture isn't centered and Caroline isn't smiling and has food on her face but I love the intensity of her eyes.
