First of all, Caroline had her second swim lesson, in which she went under water and held her breath for the first time. I know it was only one second but it seemed like an eternity. We are so proud of our little swimmer! (Note: We would advise everyone else to start their kids in swimming lessons a lot younger than we did with Caroline! You can't say we never offered parenting advice. :) )
We love her swim school and her teacher, Miss Amber. They really focus on water safety for the kids and how to instinctively swim to the edge and crawl out. I think we are most excited that Caroline can climb out of a pool without steps in case she falls in.

My cousins, Taylor and Haley, from Ohio came to visit on Wednesday. I haven't seen them since our wedding so it was great to hang out with them. Plus Caroline was excited to meet them! We went to the Dallas World Aquarium on Friday morning before the four of us drove to Georgetown. Caroline really wants them to be her cousins too so we told her they could be her cousins, not just mine. :) On the way to school this morning, Caroline said "Where are Taylor and Haley?" and she wanted to go see them.

Cheesy smile by the sting rays...

Caroline's "fishy" face by one of the aquariums...
When we arrived in Georgetown, my parent's neighbors told us they rescued a deer and are taking care of it. The deer's name is Buddy and Caroline really like him! He was a sweet and docile as can be!

Caroline now rides her bike with Papa to get the newspaper in the morning.

Sunday evening we went to the circus. Once we sat down we were informed we had the wrong seats. Come to find out, I bought tickets for next Sunday's show....oops. Its not very often that I'm early - much less a week early. Thankfully they reaccomodated us and gave us arena-side seats! (Very nice considering we bought tickets in the nosebleed section in case Caroline was scared of the clowns.)
The animals were really cool - minus any potential inhumane treatment. When Caroline saw the trapeze artists, she said "Look, she's hanging from the monkey bars!"

Now we are off to the airport to pick up our friend Matt, because his wife Katie is being induced tonight! Can't wait for baby boy Ramey to get here! :)
