Two weekends ago we took Caroline to a local nursery for their Fall Harvest Festival. She wore two different shoes that day because she wanted to. (Pick you battles, right?)
Here she is painting a flower pot that she later planted grass seeds in.

She made the pumpkin in the lower left corner and its on our front porch now. (Kevin made the pumpkin's bow.)
We are doing some updating/minor remodeling in the house. This is Kevin before spraying epoxy paint in the bathroom with no ventilation. I just had to take a picture because I wasn't sure if he was going to hunt squirrels in our backyard, assist in some terrorist act, or do house work. :)

This past weekend
Friday after work we drove to Beaumont to celebrate Kevin's niece, Madison's birthday. She had her birthday party on Saturday at a place called Bounce Zone that is filled with bounce houses - right up Caroline's alley!
Jumping beans! Caroline jumped in this Sesame Street bounce house by herself for a long time and was all smiles!

A failed attempt at a family picture.
Kevin's cousin, Aimee's daughter, Emma.
Patiently waiting for her cookie cake.
The cookie cake is on its way - happy girl!
Caroline and her Grandma, Kevin's mom.

Sunday morning we left Beaumont in time to go to Caroline's friend, Grant's birthday party at a gymnastics place near us in Dallas. Caroline entertained herself a lot of the way from Beaumont. Here she is reading a book.
She had a lot of fun at Grant's party!
Grant and Caroline climbing out of the pit.
I'm so proud of Caroline for doing this rope thing.

I know a little girl who loves applause. :)
More cookie cake - yum!

Today my department from work had Fair Day at the Texas State Fair and Kevin and Caroline joined me! We went during Caroline's nap so she was in "a mood" which means she refused to look at the camera for awhile.

Kevin and his turkey leg.
Kevin trying to get Caroline to take a bite of his turkey leg.

Caroline's first ride at the Fair was a motorcycle ride that Kevin rode as a kid. (Did I mention this was during nap time?)

Caroline and her new friend, Mackay, who is the daughter of one of my co-workers.

I'm too tall to ride a ride - FINALLY! :)
Canoe ride that the girls loved.

This swing ride was Dora and Boots themed. More specifically, it was "Dora Mermaid" which Caroline has and loves.

Mackay made this hilarious face the whole time on this ride - so funny!
My co-worker, Liji, and the two girls.
