Day 32 - V&A Museum of Childhood and the Harry Potter birthday party

7/29/16

Today we took the tube to the Victoria and Albert Museum of Childhood.

When we came out of the tube station, we walked around looking for lunch. We didn't walk far for me to realize we needed to get into the museum and stay there. It was a bad area.

We ate lunch in the museum and then the kids started playing.

These magnetic boards were so cool!

The kids went to arts and crafts time at the museum and made shields.

When we arrived back to our flat, William was thrilled to find there was a card for him from Nana and Papa! (Caroline received hers the next day with a nice note from the Royal Mail apologizing for the delay.)

That evening, we headed to the Embassy for the Harry Potter birthday party! They had hot dogs, popcorn, and specialty drinks like Butterbeer. Then we watched "The Sorcerer's Stone" on the movie in the big conference room at the Embassy which was pretty cool.

It was dark and rainy on the way home but I love these pictures.
