Another cute morning picture...
Today we headed off to visit the Science Museum. The long, steep escalator down into the tube.
Riding the tube.
The kids giving money to a great singer in the tube station.
They are almost like locals now...except when their mom takes pictures of them.
As we were walking from the tube stop to the science museum, we were distracted by a big sign advertising a butterfly exhibit at the Natural History Museum. The beauty of our life this summer if that we don't have plans so we went to the butterfly exhibit.
You can't tell, but those are my kids in the raincoats with their hoods up. (We were inside by the way.)
Looking at all of the cocoons.
Butterflies kept landing on William's head!
We have books at home about how butterflies and other insects drink nectar through their proboscis so it was amazing to watch it in person. The butterflies were so big!
That evening we had dinner with Chris Rosas, our neighbor in San Antonio and Will's best friend's dad. He brought presents from Gabe and Ellie and the kids were so excited. (Thank you Stacy for the thoughtful gifts!!)
Walking home from dinner.
