Today we met Kevin for lunch at Ask, the restaurant we went to on our first date. Not the same exact restaurant but the same chain. Kevin and I had the fettuccine bolognase and it as amazing. Lunches came with a shot of espresso and I let Caroline try mine.
Kevin went back to work and the kids and I hopped on a bus and headed to the London Science Museum.
The museum was amazing! We saw a 3D movie on the Apollo moon landing and one on the oceans. The kids learned how washing machines and refrigerators work and attended a workshop on bubbles. Then we took the tube home - again during rush hour craziness.
We met Kevin back at the flat and took the kids to Trafalgar Square. Unfortunately a large portion of it was fenced off for an event.
Then we wandered around and found the calvary stables where the royal horses are kept. Caroline was a little frightened by this calvary guard.
Calvary stables and the London eye in the background.
After dinner, we wandered to Buckingham Palace.
From the gates of the Palace, we turned around and saw this rainbow ending in the London Eye.
William climbing the gates at Buckingham Palace.
Walking through St. James Park to get to the tube station to head home.
Riding the tube home.
